Kevin is Chairman at VUCA and provides tremendous financial skills and strategic skills to his clients. His ability to problem solve and provide solutions to clients is well known across Australia. Kevin’s exceptional directorship career has enabled him to understand clearly the defining roles between the Board and Management, the significant role the Chair plays within Boards, and the importance of financial literacy for directors on Boards.
Kevin was the CEO of Bank One Australia, one of Australia’s first international banks. After a 20-year global career with Bank One (now of J.P.Morgan Chase), Kevin became a professional non-executive director in 2003, working on some of Australia’s largest global corporate transactions. He has served as Deputy Chairman of Bendigo Adelaide Bank (an ASX top 50 company), ABB Grain, SA Water, the National Board of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and Calgary-based Viterra, a then Canadian listed top 50 company. As advisor to the South Australian Government, Kevin served as Deputy Chairman of the Economic Development Board (EDB), Chairman on the build of the $1.6 billion desalination plant, and Chairman on the Fines Enforcement Review for the SA Attorney General.
He currently serves as: Chairman, VUCA Pty Ltd; Chairman, Coppin Capital Pty Ltd (Fund Managers); Deputy Chairman, Port Adelaide Football Club; Chairman Power Community Ltd (NFP sector) Director, Nut Producers Australia Pty Ltd; Director, Accounting Professional Ethical Standards Board (APESB); Director, Carlisle Health Pty Ltd; and Chairman, Beerenberg Farm Advisory Board.
In 2019, Kevin was awarded the AICD Distinguished Fellow award for his outstanding contribution to the progression of Australian Governance through his formal appointments and extended activities.
