David Spear is a Director of VUCA and has over 30 years’ experience in commercial business management, including significant directorship experience within numerous sectors, NFP’s, public and private companies and membership-based entities. He brings tremendous expertise in governance, strategy, leadership, performance and risk.
David was previously the State Director of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) SA/NT for 8 years, is a 2013 alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School Governance program, and is a Fellow of the AICD. He has worked extensively with First Nations organisations on strategy, governance training and Board performance, and was previously an Independent Director on a First Nations organisation Board.
David’s current Board portfolio includes Chairman of Office Brands, Chairman of Tyre Stewardship Australia, Non-Executive Director of Unity Housing, Non-Executive Director of McLaren Vale Grape, Wine, and Tourism Association, and Non Executive Director of the Central Adelaide Waste Recycling Authority.
